Guardian Girls Karate Night Reception with Masters

On October 7th, the Koyamada International Foundation (KIF), United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and World Karate Federation (WKF) hosted the VIP Reception Dinner "Karate Night" at the Official Residence of the Consul General of Japan in Los Angeles to officially launch the Guardian Girls Global Karate Project (Guardian Girls Karate) in Los Angeles.

Before the Karate Night started, some distinguished Japanese Karate Grandmasters had an opportunity to meet and greet and exchange dialogue with the newly arrived Consul General of Japan Kenko Sone about the Karate community in Los Angeles area and across the United States. At the beginning, the new Consul General of Japan Kenko Sone welcomed Sensei and their top students to his Official Residence, followed by the greetings of the WKF President Antonio Espinós Ortueta, KIF Global Chair Shin Koyamada and WKF General Secretary Toshihisa Nagura. They have talked about the importance of working together, regardless their differences in styles, schools and backgrounds, to support the Karate communities in Los Angeles, the United States and around the world in an inclusive way for a future generation.
