Women Citizen Dialogue (WCD) is a global platform that empowers women leaders to shape inclusive policies, strengthen regional cooperation, and advance gender equality through meaningful dialogue. The initiative brings together diverse voices from governments, civil society, academia, the private sector, and international organizations to drive solutions that uplift women and girls worldwide.

MISSION STATEMENT

Women Citizen Dialogue (WCD) is an international leadership initiative convened by GGI to promote high-level dialogue among women leaders across partner countries and regions. The Dialogue provides a collaborative space to share insights, address gender-based challenges, and develop actionable strategies that support national development and regional integration. Adaptable to both regional and country-level hosting, the platform enables governments, institutions, and communities to co-create impactful solutions for women and girls.

CORE OBJECTIVES

  1. Strengthen Women's Leadership in Public and Civic Life
    Empower women leaders to shape policies, influence decision-making, and contribute to national and regional development agendas.

  2. Advance Gender Equality and Prevent Violence Against Women and Girls
    Promote shared understanding, policy alignment, and multi-sector cooperation to address gender gaps and safeguard women's rights and safety.

  3. Foster Regional and International Collaboration
    Create a platform where partner nations and regions exchange experiences, best practices, and innovative solutions to common challenges.

  4. Elevate Women’s Voices Across Sectors
    Include leaders from government, civil society, academia, sports, private sector, and international organizations to ensure inclusive representation and collective impact.

  5. Generate Action-Oriented Recommendations
    Develop practical strategies and consensus-based outcomes that partners can integrate into national programs, development plans, and cross-border initiatives.
