GUARDIAN GIRLS SEMINAR
OVERVIEW
The Guardian Girl Seminar is a one-to-two-day project that targets girls and women as direct beneficiaries to empower them to defend themselves from all forms of violence through an introductory orientation and self-defense training.
PURPOSE
The purpose of the Seminar is to promote the overall mission of the Guardian Girls Initiative and to involve and instruct individuals from communities around the world so they might benefit from the activities of the Guardian Girls program.GOAL
The goal is to give a quick introduction to potential partners from the local communities by giving girls and women and those potential community, national or global partners an opportunity to see and experience a hands-on, quick inside look at the Guardian Girls Initiative and the work involved.

HOW WE DO
RECEPTION
The Seminar first kicks off with its Guardian Girls Reception hosted by KIF and its global partners with key stakeholders such as United Nations, government, corporate and NGO officials at an United Nations or Embassy facility.
SEMINAR
The Seminar provides an orientation about gender equality and its gender-based violence (GBV) to the participating girls and women as well as a one-time women's martial arts self-defense training session to them.

WHERE WE DO
WORLDWIDE
By fully leveraging global partner's global network, the seminar is being hosted by its global partners such as international sport federations in countries where they have strong and sustainable resources to benefit those vulnerable girls and women in need. The Seminar is funded by a global partner, governments and corporate partners.
