Türkiye Empowers Women through Guardian Girls Aikido

On Saturday and Sunday, 22–23 November 2025, the Guardian Girls Aikido (GGA) Seminar was held by the United Aikido Organisation (UAO), led by Mustafa Aygun (7th Dan), at a dojo in Bursa, Türkiye. The seminar was conducted under the leadership of Elif Tavkaya, a female instructor from UAO and a certified GGA instructor. A total of 12 women participated in a three-hour training session, marking an important milestone for the Guardian Girls initiative in Türkiye.

One of the key objectives of this activity was to develop a structured training programme and assess its implementation in practice. While several components will continue to be refined and strengthened, the pilot programme was considered highly successful. Participants expressed strong satisfaction with the training and enthusiasm for future Guardian Girls Aikido activities in Türkiye.
